Moving towards inclusive employment and confronting regular funding crises present many challenges.  They also produce opportunities.  Join chapter leaders and learn about the businesses they created to provide inclusive employment opportunities for individuals and generate revenue for their chapters.  Developed in response to a question about business ventures submitted through the NCE Local Executive listserv, this session features a panel of chapter leaders that are working towards the goal of starting a business or have been running successful businesses at their chapter.  The panel will briefly discuss their ventures and then field questions developed through the NCE Business Development listserv and field questions from the audience.

  • Identifying the advantages to launching a business to generate revenue and provide inclusive employment 
  • Assessing the challenges to creating a business 
  • Learn from chapters who are in the process of setting up businesses and are running successful businesses at their chapters
